photographers: use the gear that you already have to create another passive income- my diy photobooth for events, weddings and parties to make more money

Looking for a great secondary income as a photographer ?

I'm going to tell you my favorite thing that I figured out couple years ago love it -

my traveling photobooth already uses the same gear that I already have

I already use the same lighting  and the same photo knowledge.

The same marketing skills I use everyday for my photography business (see it here www.virginiaphotosandfilms.com ) already have and the same backdrops and lighting .

I hook up my Nikon z6 to the software and I ready to go!

But honestly, it is alot of money when you are first starting out. So you can totally doing something more affordable here with the student model nikon z50 with the kit lens:

Of course LIGHTING is a MUST! Here is the plug-in play kit that I use for constant video light: https://amzn.to/49xakqt

If you have low ceilings, you can get away with just a simple light like this to bounce light off of: https://amzn.to/3wgmlSQ

I just purchased a printer DNP, (see the link here: https://amzn.to/3WYdi0l

super fast for my events and I have a computer, a laptop that runs DSLR Booth.

Here is an external monitor that my help you to get a front view for your clients:

Of course you can always use an old monitor from the thriftstore or even you own ipad with this DUET program:

For backdrops, you can do a few difference methods: You can do a easy-up style here:

To save money, you can do this style backdrop and use other sparkle backdrops and textures:

Yes, you can use paper props, but I prefer to use reusable hats and things I find out the thrift store so that I am making better eco choice then one-time-use:

I'm able to just come set it up, run the program leave after Two hours, no extra editing involved.

I'm able to show up with my kids. They can run it with me and make some income on the side and I'm not working super, super late, because people pay per hour so they want to get in and get out have fun at the booth, and then get out without having to go till 2:00 3:00 in the morning.

up late in the past- which is what my wedding photo and video job was for 6-7 years before COVID

Hopefully that helps guys, let me know in the comments. You have any other ideas for secondary income, sources for photographers.
